Preksha Surana

MEng Candidate, School of Engineering

Preksha completed a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Toronto in 2017. During her time at the university, she worked as a sediment geochemistry lab technician and gained field work experience while collecting lake sediment samples. Following her schooling, she started working for the Ontario Ministry of Environment in Kingston as a summer student. She gained work experience at the Deloro Mine site Clean-up project and the Great Lakes projects. After completing her term at the Ministry, she started full-time work as a consultant at Wood and has been working as a Junior Geoscientist-in-Training within their hydrogeology group. Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree while working part-time at Wood.
