World Water Day 2023

This yearโ€™s World Water Day is about accelerating change, aimed at solving the global water and sanitation crisis. ๐ŸŒŽ

Did you know:

๐Ÿ’ง 1 in 4 people โ€“ 2 billion people โ€“ around the world lack safe drinking water.

๐Ÿ’ง Almost half of the global population โ€“ 3.6 billion people โ€“ lack safe sanitation.

๐Ÿ’ง Globally, 44 per cent of household wastewater is not safely treated.

๐Ÿ’ง Wetlands are being drained for agriculture, with more than 50 per cent lost since 1900.
