Jessica Meyer is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Iowa and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph. Jessica also spent time as a PhD Research Associate with the G360 Institute for Groundwater Research in the School of Engineering.  She has earned degrees in environmental geology (B.Sc., University of Montana, 2002) and hydrogeology (M.Sc., University of Waterloo, 2005 and Ph.D., University of Guelph 2013). Dr. Meyer’s research focuses on field based characterization of fractured sedimentary rock flow systems with emphasis on understanding the relationship between the hydraulic and geologic structure of the subsurface. In addition to her research experience, she has 14 years of experience managing large multifaceted field based research projects at industrial sites.
