ALGA Symposium

Dr. Beth Parker will provide a keynote talk at the Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) Seminar in March 2020.

The Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) is hosting a seminar on High Resolution Site Characterisation (HRSC) in Sydney, Australia which aims to bring together the wealth of real-life experience of environmental practitioners and of environmental practitioners and managers and the expertise of technical service providers.

Water Justice Workshop

Dr. Beth Parker will provide a talk at the Water Justice Workshop “Fluid Thinking: Water Justice in a Changing Climate” organized by the University of Guelph.

Water justice is inherently without boundaries; it moves between various connected disciplines, such as philosophy, law, history, engineering, and geography. “Fluid Thinking: Water Justice in a Changing Climate” brings together academic professionals and the general public to discuss this most pressing issue. The transdisciplinary nature of water requires study that intersects ethical, scientific, cultural, and justice-related themes and concerns which are reflected in the presentations and discussions of this conference.

University Consortium

The G³⁶⁰ Institute will be hosting and presenting at the 2020 University Consortium June Meeting, held at the University of Guelph.

The University Consortium for Field-Focused Groundwater Research is a forum for communications between the Consortium academic community and the corporate sponsor community, research collaborations, and friends of the Consortium who provide additional insights and links to relevant research in other parts of the world. This meeting also provides an opportunity for graduate students to acquire presentation experience in front of an audience with diverse experience and interests.
