Our Water: Challenges & Solutions

Water is one of our most essential resources and in the Region of Waterloo, it’s facing increasing pressure. 💧

Due to rapid population growth and aging infrastructure, a water capacity issue has been identified within the Mannheim Service Area, which supplies water to Kitchener, Waterloo, parts of Cambridge, and the Townships of Woolwich and Wilmot.

To help the community better understand this challenge and explore potential solutions, Nith Valley EcoBoosters is hosting a free public event:

💧 Our Water: Challenges & Solutions
📅 Tuesday, April 21
⏰ 7:00 – 9:00 PM (EDT)
📍 Zion United Church, 215 Peel Street, New Hamburg
💻 Also available via live stream
